What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: The perfect game script for my lineups would be for the Bengals to build an early lead. I plan to be overweight on Chase Brown and underweight on J.K. Dobbins. A Bengals lead would be good for Brown and great for the Chargers’ passing attack. I expect most people to build with the idea of the Chargers playing with a lead.
ncorfield8k: This should be a fast-paced game with a lot of scoring. The Bengals have the highest neutral pass rate in the league, and the Chargers have turned their passing up significantly since their bye week. I’ll be playing quarterbacks more than usual, both in the flex and at Captain.
Davis Mattek: I like building for a Bengals win. This is a 100% must-win spot for them to keep their playoff hopes alive, and the passing game has been incredibly explosive. The Chargers defense has been great, but they have also faced the opposite of a murderer’s row. They limited Patrick Mahomes but also allowed explosive plays to Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce. The Chargers have also trended up in PROE, so it is not unreasonable to see a shootout.
Bobby Gomes: Despite the Chargers’ defensive success this season, their offense has sputtered. Joe Burrow will likely see a zone that he should be able to read and dissect. With Tee Higgins expected to return, my builds will primarily feature Joey B and the air attack. I’ll be overweight on the Bengals’ passing game and underweight on the Chargers’ run game. Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey are really the only appealing Chargers to fit my builds. This game should play closely, but I have it going under the current 47.5 total.
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
