What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: I’m hoping the Eagles can build a lead early and force the Commanders to air it out. With Brian Robinson back from injury, I don’t want to play the roulette wheel with Washington’s backfield. I’m planning to fade all of their running backs, so the Eagles jumping out to an early lead would certainly help my builds (at least on paper).
headChopper: I see both offenses finding success here, with both defenses likely to struggle. Washington’s defense can be beaten in both the run and pass game, giving the Eagles a wide range of options to exploit. Meanwhile, despite Philadelphia’s recent solid numbers, they look primed to be beaten through the air. Expect a high-scoring game with plenty of touchdowns on both sides.
ncorfield8k: I like building for an air raid. With both quarterbacks being dual threats and both teams being top 10 in rush rate, the field will gravitate to running backs and quarterbacks without many pass catchers. It’s a logical way to build. But as a result, large stacks will be underutilized in large-field GPPs and are still well within the range of outcomes for this game.
Davis Mattek: This is weirdly a game that really matters for NFC playoff standings. The Eagles’ offense has led the league in rate of explosive plays after their Week 5 bye. Jayden Daniels has not attempted a high rate of high-aDOT throws, but he has been one of the most effective deep passers on those throws. Famous last words, but I do think that this game trends towards the over and the QBs/WRs end up under-owned.
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
