What is your favorite game-script build and why?
kmurray03: This could be a bit of an ugly one, with two decent defenses in a game where the weather is supposed to be less than stellar. The total is low for that reason, but my favorite script to build around is one where there are more points than most might expect, and that is because of the ground games. I like Etienne and Lamar Jackson a ton for that reason.
Notorious: We have a very interesting game on tap tonight. These are two of the best run defenses in the NFL, yet we are expecting wind gusts of 40mph in the game. This will clearly impact deep passes down the field. I’m likely going to be overweight on both passing attacks in hopes that everyone overreacts to the forecast.
TastefulTides: Weather is going to be a huge factor in this game, especially when it comes to the wind. Roth currently has gusts in the 40mph zone. That is enough for me to want to get heavier on the ground game. Travis Etienne should get plenty of work, and I don’t mind getting to his back D’Ernest Johnson in larger-field contests as well. Lamar does great rushing the ball, so he will be strong chalk regardless of weather concerns.
TJ Zwarych: This game projects to be incredibly ugly in terms of weather, but I don’t know how much that will actually affect a team like the Ravens. They’re a team who loves to run the ball and throws plenty of screen passes regularly, and I think that’ll be the case again tonight. However, I expect the Jaguars to struggle to keep up since Trevor Lawrence is dealing with an injury.
