Noto's Key Personnel: Week 7
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.
Happy Week 7 everyone!
It’s almost Halloween and I’m hoping this weekend provides more treats than tricks. The slate is a tad smaller than usual, as there are six teams on bye and three primetime games. The slate feels even smaller when you look at the totals for the games. And then it seems even smaller when you start to look at the player pool. This is one of those weeks where we need to embrace the ugliness. If we come into it with negative thoughts, we are putting ourselves behind the eight ball.
I’m choosing to view this slate as an opportunity rather than a burden. My expert play tags this week feature a good amount of chalk, but they also have some low-owned options mixed in at receiver. The goal of this article is to not only explain why I like certain plays, but give a broad overview of the options at each position. I want to lay out a case for a number of players and let you come to your own conclusions.
As always, I appreciate you joining me. Let’s dive into Week 7.
NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 7
Quarterback
EXPERT PLAY TAGS
Lamar Jackson: $7,600 DK / $8,000 FD
Geno Smith: $6,000 DK / $7,000 FD
Lamar Jackson is a priority for me this weekend. Even though we haven’t seen the air raid that was promised to us when the Ravens brought in Todd Monken, it hasn’t stopped Jackson from being one of the most productive quarterbacks in DFS. He has averaged over 20 fantasy points per game and continues to have the highest rushing floor of anyone at the position. He has averaged double-digit rushing attempts since J.K. Dobbins went down and that will likely be the case again this week against the Lions. I like the price point (especially on FanDuel) and it’s easy to build Baltimore stacks with Zay Flowers or Mark Andrews.
