Noto's NFL DFS Key Personnel: Week 8
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.
Week 7 was an ugly one. There were injuries all over the place, there were random DNPs after players were announced as active, and a lot of the chalk didn’t pan out. Despite having exposure to Jordan Whittington, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Jayden Daniels, I managed to escape with a break-even week. Given the circumstances, I’ll happily take it.
We are to the point of the year where there’s a lot to look forward to, both in terms of sports and holidays. The World Series starts on Friday, the NBA season is officially underway, Halloween is next week, everyone’s favorite Turkey Day Slate is around the corner, and then we are off to the races for Christmas.
We all know the NFL season goes by too fast. You know what else goes by too fast? Kids growing up. It’s hard to believe, but my little man turns 9 years old this weekend. Kids are a great example of why we should try to enjoy every step along the way. So, whether you are off to a good or bad start this season, let’s keep grinding and enjoy the process.

NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 8
One of my favorite parts about DFS is that every slate is a unique puzzle. In Week 7, we had tight pricing and had to make some very difficult lineup decisions. This led to a lot of two tight-end builds, which is the first time we’ve seen that all season. In Week 8, we have a ton of value at our disposal, especially at the wide receiver position. We’ll get into the specifics later in the article, but I think it’s a good week to spend up at quarterback, running back, and potentially even tight end.

Jalen Hurts: $7,500 DK / $8,600 FD
Jalen Hurts is flying under the radar this week despite the softer pricing. Even though the projections will tell you to spend down at the position, I’m happy to spend up on Hurts, especially at low pOWN%. He’s only had one exceptional day through the air this season, yet he’s averaged over 20 fantasy points per game. After the Eagles got Saquon Barkley his revenge touchdown early in last week’s game against the Giants, they ran the tush-push every time they got inside the 2-yard line. He might not have Dallas Goedert back this week, but he still has elite weapons in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. He draws a tremendous matchup against the Bengals, who have the 5th-lowest pressure rate and who have allowed the 5th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
