Longshot NFL Week 4 Parlay Picks

PAYOUT: +71244, DraftKings

Chuba Hubbard 100+ Rushing Yards (+550)

Cincinnati only allowed 35 rushing yards in Week 3 to Austin Ekeler, but the lack of big yardage for Washington running backs was more a function of game script than anything else. Jayden Daniels completed 21-of-23 pass attempts for 254 yards, and the Commanders still managed 108 rushing yards and 3 scores on the ground between their three-headed ground attack with Daniels, Ekeler, and Brian Robinson. In the 2 weeks prior, the Bengals allowed 120 rushing yards to Rhamondre Stevenson and 90 rushing yards to Isiah Pacheco – both of whom had more of a stronghold on their team’s backfield duties.

In Week 4, Chuba Hubbard is likely to see the vast majority of carries for the Panthers on the ground. Hubbard has received 61.7% of his team’s rush attempts that have gone to running backs in 2024, including 21 of their 28 attempts (75%) last weekend against the Raiders. Hubbard is running well to start the new campaign, averaging more yards after contact than the league-average running back. He is well-positioned for another big game on Sunday as long as Carolina can keep the contest relatively competitive.

Garrett Wilson 100+ Receiving Yards (+550)

Garrett Wilson suffered through some of the worst quarterback play in the entire NFL during his first couple of years in the NFL, but he still managed 5 games of 100+ receiving yards during that stretch. To begin 2024, Wilson has been dealt a tough hand of opposing defenses, facing top-tier cornerbacks against the 49ers, Titans, and Patriots.

In Week 4, Wilson draws another highly-respected name in Pat Surtain II, but this could be a more digestible matchup than it appears on the surface. Surtain II has struggled in coverage to begin the new campaign, ranking 94th out of 99 cornerbacks in coverage through three weeks, per PFF. Wilson has seen 9+ targets in 2 of New York’s first 3 games. He’s a big play away from getting to the century mark for the first time with Aaron Rodgers under center.

Brandon Aiyuk 100+ Receiving Yards (+390)

Brandon Aiyuk took a backseat to Jauan Jennings last weekend against the Rams, but that is unlikely to last. Deebo Samuel returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday, but it seems as though he will be out again this weekend against the Patriots. In his last 19 games played without Samuel on the field, Aiyuk has managed 100+ receiving yards 6 times.

Aiyuk has good yards-after-catch ability and is a threat to break away for a big gain on any reception. He ranked 17th out of 102 receivers in aDOT last year (min. 35 targets). Even with Jennings having a career day against the Rams, Aiyuk saw 10 targets. He’s capable of a strong showing in this spot, even if he has to deal with Christian Gonzalez for a fair amount of snaps.

Marvin Harrison Jr. 100+ Receiving Yards (+220)

Marvin Harrison Jr. has a dream matchup in Week 4, facing a Washington secondary unit that has allowed a 100-yard receiver in back-to-back games entering play. Through 3 games, the Commanders pass defense ranks 32nd in EPA/play and 31st in success rate.

Harrison Jr. has seen his target share increase each week to begin 2024, with 3 targets in Week 1, 8 targets in Week 2, and 11 targets in Week 3. There is proof of concept here, with Harrison Jr. already having a 130-yard performance against the Rams earlier this month. Expect him to be heavily involved in the offense once again, giving him a great chance for a spike week.
