Week 14 of the NFL regular season will wrap up with a Monday Night Football showdown between the Eagles and Chargers. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC.

Philadelphia enters play in the midst of a rare losing streak, having lost in Week 12 to Dallas and Week 13 to Chicago. They likely need a win to keep their hopes alive for the top seed in the NFC playoff picture.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are fighting simply to make the postseason in the AFC. They will get a big boost to their offense this evening with rookie running back Omarion Hampton returning from injured reserve to play for the first time since Week 5.

Looking at the NFL Odds for Monday Night Football, the market is expecting a competitive game between these playoff contenders, with the Eagles favored by 2.5 points. The total is set at over/under 41.5 points.

Best NFL Player Props for Eagles vs. Chargers

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Monday, December 8th:

Omarion Hampton OVER 36.5 Rushing Yards (-112, FanDuel)

DT Jalen Carter has missed 2 games this season for the Eagles. In Week 1, they allowed Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders to combine for 107 rushing yards on 19 attempts. In Week 6, Cam Skattebo had 98 rushing yards on 19 attempts against them.

There is obviously some uncertainty regarding the Chargers’ backfield this evening with Omarion Hampton having not played since Week 5. That being said, HC Jim Harbaugh seemed to think Hampton was in a good spot ahead of kickoff in Week 13. After another full week of practice and recovery, it stands to reason that Hampton should see 10+ carries this evening.

All it takes is 1 big run for Hampton to have a great chance to clear this number.

Kimani Vidal OVER 9.5 Rushing Attempts (-105, BetMGM)

The natural tendency for the betting community when a starting running back returns is to gravitate toward the over on that player’s props. However, there are some strong arguments to be made that Vidal will still be involved in the team’s offense this evening.

In 2 games without DT Jalen Carter available this year, Philadelphia is allowing 4.8 yards per carry and 2.1 yards before contact. They have the 2nd-lowest stuff% in the NFL in those 2 weeks in which Carter has been out.

Following last Sunday’s game, QB Justin Herbert underwent surgery to stabilize a fracture in his non-throwing hand. That doesn’t figure to have a massive impact on tonight’s game plan, but it probably doesn’t make the coaching staff eager to increase their pass% either.

Ladd McConkey UNDER 52.5 Receiving Yards (-108, Caesars)

CB Cooper DeJean is one of the league’s best coverage defenders in the slot. Entering play this evening, he ranks 20th out of 111 cornerbacks in PFF coverage grade.

McConkey has been lined up in the slot for nearly two-thirds of his offensive snaps in 2025. This is a brutal matchup for a smaller receiver – especially someone who hasn’t had more than 6 targets in a game since Week 8.
