The final edition of Monday Night Football this season will feature the Texans against the Steelers to conclude NFL Wild Card weekend. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC.

Houston enters play on a 9-game winning streak and is widely regarded as one of the most likely sleeper candidates to make a deep postseason run this January. Pittsburgh is fresh off of an improbable comeback victory in Week 18, which helped them secure the AFC North division title and a trip back to the playoffs.

Looking at the NFL odds for Monday, oddsmakers are anticipating a tightly contested affair, with the Texans favored by only 3 points as of this writing. The total is set at over/under 38.5 points.

Best NFL Player Props for Texans vs. Steelers

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Monday, January 12th:

Aaron Rodgers UNDER 0.5 Rushing Yards (+112, FanDuel)

Rodgers unexpectedly showed some mobility down the stretch of the regular season, with 9, 6, and 20 rushing yards in his final 3 contests to help push Pittsburgh to the playoffs. That being said, he had a total of 0 rushing yards across his previous 3 games combined. Only once in his prior 7 games did he have a single rushing yard. Rodgers isn’t the tush push option, and he’s far from a guarantee to make any effort to escape the pocket tonight. At plus money, there is value on the under.

Woody Marks Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+175, FanDuel)

Marks scored only 5 touchdowns during the regular season, but he dominated the running back touches for Houston in Week 17 and Week 18, and now gets a great matchup against a poor Pittsburgh run defense in the Wild Card round.

Since Week 13 alone, they have allowed 94 rushing yards to Derrick Henry, 126 rushing yards to Derrick Henry, 5.0 yards per carry to DeVon Achane, and 144 rushing yards to James Cook. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Marks find pay dirt in this matchup.

Connor Heyward Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+650, DraftKings)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONDRAFTKINGS

Connor Heyward has become the primary tush push ball carrier for Pittsburgh down the stretch this season. Since Week 15, he’s received 3 of the team’s 9 goal-line rush attempts and actually leads the team in goal-line rushing touchdowns in that span. Pittsburgh’s coaching staff has clearly shown increased confidence in the team’s short-yardage unit, which has increased the usage of these types of plays. This is tremendous value for Heyward, who figures to get at least 1 opportunity in short yardage on Monday.
