Week 9 of the NFL regular season will begin with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Ravens and Dolphins. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video from Hard Rock Stadium.

The big news ahead of this evening’s game is the return of Lamar Jackson, who hasn’t played since Week 4 due to a hamstring injury. This season, the Ravens are averaging 32.8 points per game with him active compared to only 14.3 points per game without him on the field.

On the other side of this matchup, Tua Tagovailoa and company are fresh off of a dominant 34-10 win over the Falcons. It was Miami’s first road victory since Week 17 of last year, and only their second victory overall in 2025.

Looking at the NFL Odds as we approach game time, the market doesn’t appear to be buying much stock in Miami’s resurgence, with Baltimore favored by 7.5 points as of this writing. The total is set at over/under 51.5 points.

Best NFL Player Props for Ravens vs. Dolphins

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, October 30th:

Keaton Mitchell UNDER 13.5 Rushing Yards (-112, FanDuel)

During the team’s bye week, HC John Harbaugh told the media that it was an organizational priority to “tag” plays for Mitchell, meaning that they wanted to get him more involved in the team’s offense. Sure enough, Mitchell responded with 43 rushing yards on 4 attempts against the Bears in Week 8.

That being said, the important number for bettors to take note of is the 4 rushing attempts – not the 43 rushing yards. Simply, Mitchell isn’t going to average 10.8 yards per carry each week, nor can he be counted on for a 25-yard rush in each game.

Miami’s defense is not very good, but Mitchell is still a very clear backup to Derrick Henry in this Baltimore backfield. It’s not a guarantee Mitchell sees more than 10 snaps on Thursday, and it’s even less guaranteed that all of those snaps will utilize him as a rusher. He could also simply be ineffective with his opportunities, which could also work to keep him under this number.

Tanner Conner OVER 1.5 Receptions (-118, Caesars)

In Week 8, Conner played a season-high 31 snaps for the Dolphins. He’s seen his role closely tied to the availability of Darren Waller this fall. Given that Waller is now on injured reserve, it seems to be a pretty safe bet that Conner will play at least 25 snaps on a weekly basis, including tonight.

Conner has multiple targets in 6 games this season, which includes 3 games of multiple receptions. Baltimore’s season-long defensive metrics aren’t a great snapshot of their current talent level due to how many injuries they have dealt with on that side of the ball, but they do rank 28th in DVOA against tight ends this fall.

Conner should have a decent floor as far as playing time goes. The matchup could afford him an extra opportunity or two in the passing game as well.

Tanner Conner Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+650, BetMGM)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBETMGM

In 4 games with Darren Waller inactive this season, Conner has a 47.6% snap share, which has led to 5 receptions on 8 targets. Notably, 3 of those 8 targets have come in the red zone – only Jaylen Waddle has more such targets in games that Waller has been out.

At significant plus money, there are certainly worse long shots on the board this evening to score a touchdown.
