NFL PrizePicks: 49ers vs. Vikings Player Predictions for Monday Night Football

It looked like last night’s game between the Dolphins and Eagles could turn into a shootout, but Miami ran out of gas in the second half. The game was enjoyable enough from a viewing standpoint, but tonight could get a bit uglier. However, the Monday Night Football matchup featuring the 49ers vs. Vikings should still provide plenty of fantasy goodness for our DFS Pick’em predictions on PrizePicks. Christian McCaffrey has had his status in doubt all week but looks primed to play tonight, however, the 49ers are still without Deebo Samuel opening up some interesting plays.

Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.

PrizePicks Plays: 49ers vs. Vikings

Kirk Cousins – 2.5 Rushing Yards

Primetime Kirk Cousins is a scary player to rely on due to his past struggles. Thankfully, his minuscule rushing yard projection on PrizePicks can be surpassed even if he plays poorly. Cousins projects for 8.44 yards rushing in the RotoGrinders projections for the Monday Night Football matchup between the 49ers vs. Vikings. While he’s not the most mobile QB, Cousins will likely find himself needing to scramble to avoid pressure tonight against the fantastic San Francisco front seven. He can eclipse this total with a single scramble, and he’ll likely have a lot of dropbacks as heavy underdogs against the 49ers.

Play: Cousins – More Than 2.5 Rushing Yards

Christian McCaffrey – 23.5 Receiving Yards

It seemed early in the week like Christian McCaffrey may not be able to suit up for this one, but early reports Monday indicate he’s going to be playing. While he may be somewhat limited, this number is still incredibly low for a player of McCaffrey’s caliber. The RotoGrinders projections have McCaffrey at nearly 40 yards receiving, and although he’s not 100%, he doesn’t have to be to exceed this small number on PrizePicks.

Play: McCaffrey – More Than 23.5 Receiving Yards

George Kittle + Alexander Mattison – 0.5 Touchdowns (Combo)

When Deebo Samuel doesn’t play, George Kittle goes absolute beast mode. Kittle has never been a consistent player, but he has some of the biggest fantasy weeks we’ve ever seen from tight ends when he smashes. A large percentage of these games come without Deebo in the lineup, as Brock Purdy looks to Kittle as his main target. Brandon Aiyuk is far more involved in the 49ers passing game than he ever has been, but I still love Kittle to score a touchdown tonight. Thankfully, Alexander Mattison is included in the DFS Pick’em combo on PrizePicks for some insurance. While they’re heavy underdogs, Mattison will likely remain involved in the passing game, and the two of them together combine for a 0.99 TD projection in the RotoGrinders projections.

Play: Kittle + Mattison – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns (Combo)
