NFL PrizePicks: Bears vs. Panthers Player Predictions for Thursday Night Football
Yuck! What the schedule makers may have thought would be an epic battle between the number one overall pick in Bryce Young and Justin Fields for the Bears vs. Panthers on Thursday Night Football turns out to be a probable dud between the most disappointing rookie QB and Tyson Bagent. However, there are still plenty of opportunities for DFS Pick’em predictions on PrizePicks.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Bears vs. Panthers
- Chuba Hubbard – More Than 13.5 Receiving Yards
- D.J. Moore – More Than 54.5 Receiving Yards
- Bryce Young – More Than 9.5 Rushing Yards
Chuba Hubbard – 13.5 Receiving Yards
This is my favorite of all of my PrizePicks predictions tonight. Not only is Hubbard expected to have more than 20 receiving yards in the RotoGrinders projections, but this play also has a 73.39% success rate in the Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, which is the highest of the night. In his first game as a starter, Hubbard had 23 yards receiving. In the next game, it didn’t amount to many yards, but he had 6 targets and was heavily involved in the passing game. Hubbard has always been a great receiving back and gets a wonderful matchup against the pitiful Chicago Bears defense.
Play: Hubbard – More Than 13.5 Receiving Yards
D.J. Moore – 54.5 Receiving Yards
Admittedly, I’m going against the projections a bit on this one. While Moore is still expected to have 52 yards according to the RotoGrinders projections, that falls a bit short of his projection on PrizePicks. However, not only do we have a bit of sweet, sweet revenge for Moore in this spot, but he’s also been right around 40-50 yards in floor games, while absolutely exploding in his ceiling games. He has massive big-play upside and could eclipse this mark with one long pass from Bagent. I don’t expect either of these teams to score many touchdowns, but I still think Moore has big-time potential through the air against a weak Panthers defense.
Play: Moore – More Than 54.5 Receiving Yards
Bryce Young – 9.5 Rushing Yards
While he’s not someone who runs the ball particularly often, Young has shown significant rushing upside this season, particularly of late. He had 41 yards rushing last game and has eclipsed this PrizePicks number in five games already this season. He projects for over 16 yards according to RotoGrinders and could easily surpass this total with a single scramble against a weak Bears defense. I love Young to have more than 9.5 rushing yards, as this number is just far too low for his potential upside.
