NFL PrizePicks: Bills vs. Buccaneers Player Predictions for Thursday Night Football
Tonight we have an exciting matchup featuring the Bills vs. Buccaneers as Buffalo looks to right the ship after struggling the previous few weeks. However, I need a moment to get through my PTSD from last week’s Thursday Night Football game. Chris Olave had a whopping 14 targets in the game but still finished just a few yards short of his 62.5 receiving yard DFS Pick’em prediction on PrizePicks, which stopped me from having a perfect night on every single card. Thankfully, as our favorite GrindersLive host Dean would say, in DFS we only care about today. Dawson Knox is out for the Bills which provides some nice opportunity for PrizePicks predictions in his absence.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Bills vs. Buccaneers
- Dalton Kincaid + Mike Evans – More Than 0.5 TDs (Combo)
- James Cook – More Than 17.5 Receiving Yards
- Rachaad White – More Than 22.5 Receiving Yards
Dalton Kincaid + Mike Evans – 0.5 TDs (Combo)
After Dawson Knox last week, Kincaid was a featured player in the Bills’ offense. While most of Buffalo struggled, Kincaid converted his 8 targets into 8 receptions for an impressive 75 yards. He should be active again tonight, which is why I plan to have him on every single DFS Pick’em card tonight on PrizePicks. This combo with Mike Evans feels like the safest of the bunch as his 3.5 receptions number is no longer available. The two players combine for a 0.67 chance of scoring a touchdown according to the RotoGrinders projections. However, I’m more than happy to (and will be doing) include a different Kincaid number instead, such as picking him to surpass his receiving yard prediction. Evans has scored a touchdown in all but two games for the Buccaneers this year, and I love the chances of one of the two players to score tonight.
Play: Kincaid + Evans – More Than 0.5 TDs (Combo)
James Cook – 17.5 Receiving Yards
While I don’t love James Cook on sites like DraftKings or FanDuel tonight, I think he makes for a great addition to a DFS Pick’em card on PrizePicks. Cook is expected to have nearly 24 receiving yards according to the RotoGrinders projections and has eclipsed this number in all but two games this season. Latavius Murray has become decently involved in the offense thanks to his pass-blocking ability, but Cook is still the team’s primary receiving back. If the Bills continue to play poorly and are stuck trailing in this one, that only benefits the script. However, this is a low enough number that Cook could surpass 17.5 receiving yards on a single screen pass in the first quarter, regardless of the game script.
Play: Cook – More Than 17.5 Receiving Yards
Rachaad White – 22.5 Receiving Yards
For what it’s worth, if you’re deciding on a different Kincaid prediction outside of his touchdown combo with Evans, I actually prefer Mike Evans to either receive more than 4.5 receptions or 58.5 receiving yards as my next favorite DFS Pick’em predictions on PrizePicks. However, if you’re going with the combo, then my next pivot is to Rachaad White. The Buccaneers RB has been active in their passing game all season, and the potential script sets up perfectly for him with the team being large underdogs. White has had at least 22 receiving yards in 4 of his 6 games this year and has been incredibly efficient with his targets as well. The team is likely to be playing from behind tonight, so I love White to be actively involved and eclipse his expected receiving yard mark on PrizePicks.
