NFL PrizePicks: Broncos vs. Vikings Player Predictions for Sunday Night Football
While both of these teams haven’t quite met expectations this season, both sides have been playing better recently, so it should be a fun matchup featuring the Broncos vs. Vikings. I prefer the Vikings side of this one and expect they come away victorious. And for the first time all season, I’m going significantly against projections for one specific NFL PrizePicks DFS Pick’em prediction tonight.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Broncos vs. Bengals
- Ty Chandler – More Than 9.5 Receiving Yards
- Courtland Sutton – More Than 4 Receptions
- T.J. Hockenson – More Than 57.5 Receiving Yards
Ty Chandler – 9.5 Receiving Yards
This is one of the first times this season that I disagree with the wonderful RotoGrinders projections system. Using both the projections and the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, we’ve been able to be incredibly profitable on PrizePicks so far this NFL season. However, Ty Chandler is a player I think gets his breakout game in the NFL tonight. I’m on the “More Than” side of his DFS Pick’em predictions for Rushing Attempts, Receiving Yards, and Rushing Yards. Alexander Mattison has been banged up all week, and it’s been confirmed they will split the backfield. Tonight, I think Chandler will separate himself, and not only receive more touches, but take over the starting role for the rest of the season. The beauty of this spot is that even if I’m wrong, we know Chandler will be involved in some capacity, and he could eclipse this number with a single screen pass.
Play: Chandler – More Than 9.5 Receiving Yards
Courtland Sutton – 4 Receptions
Sutton has consistently been Russell Wilson’s favorite target this season. Regardless of the game script, this number is low enough on PrizePicks that Sutton should be able to get us, at the bare minimum, a push. He’s had at least 4 receptions in 6 games this season and showed last week with 11 targets and 8 receptions that when the script allows, Wilson will pepper him with targets. I expect the Vikings to be victorious in this one, leading towards a strong game script for Sutton, who has scored a touchdown in all but 2 games this season.
Play: Sutton – More Than 4 Receptions
T.J. Hockenson – 57.5 Receiving Yards
Without Justin Jefferson in the lineup, T.J. Hockenson is not a tight end…but a WR1. Although he played limited snaps last week and was almost strictly on the field for passing downs, Joshua Dobbs absolutely locked in on his new favorite target en route to 15 targets for 11 receptions and a whopping 134 yards. While we don’t need anything close to last week’s performance to surpass this mark on PrizePicks, it’s a nice sense of security knowing Dobbs has targeted Hockenson at least 12 times in his 2 games as the starting QB for the Vikings. I love the Vikings tonight and expect Hockenson to absolutely dominate this Broncos defense.
