PrizePicks Plays: Chiefs vs. Eagles
- Rashee Rice – More Than 43.5 Receiving Yards
- DeVonta Smith – More Than 57.5 Receiving Yards
- D’Andre Swift – More Than 18.5 Receiving Yards
Rashee Rice – 43.5 Receiving Yards
The Eagles are the biggest pass funnel defense in the NFL and are just flat-out terrible against the passing game in general. Tonight, they’re stuck against Patrick Mahomes, and although the offense isn’t as potent as last year, they’re still an incredibly tough matchup. Rice has emerged as Mahomes’ favorite target not named Travis Kelce and the Eagles have been one of the worst teams in the NFL against opposing receivers all season. I’ll be heavily targeting Rice in all NFL DFS formats tonight, and he’s also my favorite of all the PrizePicks predictions tonight. He’s eclipsed this total in 3 of his last 4 games, and I expect him to keep it going tonight.
Play: Rice – More Than 43.5 Receiving Yards
DeVonta Smith – 57.5 Receiving Yards
Without Dallas Goedert in the lineup, the Eagles have historically adjusted their passing game as opposed to just plugging in another tight end to run a lot of routes. The biggest change is what happens to DeVonta Smith as he moves to the slot and runs many of the route trees previously occupied by Dallas Goedert. While Smith has been a bit disappointing this season as his teammate A.J. Brown continues to put up crazy numbers, this is the perfect buy-low spot. Smith consistently smashed last season with Goedert out of the lineup. With the Chiefs having a strong pass rush and DeVonta being moved to the slot, he should be in line for a season-high in targets.
Play: Smith – More Than 57.5 Receiving Yards
D’Andre Swift – 18.5 Receiving Yards
While I expect Julio Jones and Olamide Zaccheus to get a couple of extra looks tonight and DeVonta Smith to be the main beneficiary of Goedert’s absence, I also expect D’Andre Swift to get some extra work in the passing game. This is a similar line of thought to Smith seeing more work from the slot, especially with the Chiefs pressuring the QB at such a high rate, as Jalen Hurts will likely have to check the ball down to Swift often to avoid sacks. Swift’s 68.14% success rate to surpass 18.5 receiving yards is the highest mark of the night in the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, and he’s expected to have more than 25 receiving yards according to the RotoGrinders projections. He has surpassed this mark in 4 of his last 6 games and should have the best opportunity of them all to do so again tonight.
