NFL PrizePicks: Cowboys vs. Chargers Player Predictions for Monday Night Football
We may finally have a matchup that can potentially break the curse of terrible prime time NFL games. The Monday Night Football matchup features the Cowboys vs. Chargers, where one of the league’s better QBs faces off against one of the most imposing defenses. Herbert has been lights out so far this year, but it hasn’t resulted in spectacular play by the Chargers as a group. The Cowboys look like the best team in the league one week while playing like garbage the next. Despite both teams’ inconsistencies, there is still plenty of opportunity to profit off DFS Pick’em predictions on PrizePicks.

PrizePicks Plays: Cowboys vs. Chargers
- Tony Pollard – More Than 20.5 Receiving Yards
- Josh Palmer – More Than 3.5 Receptions
- Keenan Allen – More Than 83.5 Receiving Yards
Tony Pollard – 20.5 Receiving Yards
This is simply way too low for Tony Pollard, and it’s my favorite DFS Pick’em play of all the potential PrizePicks predictions for Monday Night Football. He’s caught at least 3 balls in every game this season and has a matchup against the relatively porous Chargers defense that has allowed some massive games to opposing RBs so far this season. Josh Jacobs recently had 8 receptions for 81 yards in this exact same spot, and they are yet to have a single game so far this season where they haven’t allowed at least 5 receptions to opposing RBs. Pollard has an absolutely ridiculous 78% success rate on his receiving yard DFS Pick’em projection on the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks tonight. He’s the best option on the slate.
Play: Pollard – More Than 20.5 Receiving Yards
Josh Palmer – 3.5 Receptions
There’s not too much to say about Palmer here. With Mike Williams out, his DFS Pick’em yardage and reception projections need to be higher. He’s projected to eclipse this total using the RotoGrinders numbers here, and he’s combined for 15 targets and 7 receptions in the two games without Williams so far this season. He’s the number 2 receiving option in this offense, and this should be an easy mark for him to eclipse against the Cowboys. Like Pollard, Josh Palmer has a better than a 70% success rate to surpass 3.5 receptions according to the RotoGrinders Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks.
Play: Palmer – More Than 3.5 Receptions
Keenan Allen – 83.5 Receiving Yards
Keenan Allen has been nothing short of spectacular so far this season. He was a disappointment last game in a really wonky situation against the Raiders and their Rookie QB. However, I’m expecting Allen to return to form in a tight game against the Cowboys. While I’m not sure we can expect another 18 catch, 200+ yard game for Allen, without Mike Williams he’s the clear number one target and should have no problem not only exceeding 83.5 yards but notching another 100-yard game as well. He’s listed at just under 90 yards receiving in the RotoGrinders projections as well and should be able to give the Cowboys fits tonight with Austin Ekeler back to take some pressure off.
