NFL PrizePicks: Giants vs. Cowboys Player Predictions for SNF
The first Sunday Night Football game is upon us in Week 1 with two divisional foes facing off in the Giants vs. Cowboys. Both of these teams come in relatively healthy for their first game of the season. However, there are still plenty of spots to take advantage of on Fantasy Pick’em sites like PrizePicks. I won’t include this in my picks because it’s incredibly obvious, but it’s worth noting that PrizePicks is running a promotion that features a 0.5 Passing Yards line for Dak Prescott.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season
PrizePicks Plays: Giants vs. Cowboys
- Brandin Cooks More/Less Than 44.5 Receiving Yards
- CeeDee Lamb More/Less Than 73.5 Receiving Yards
- Saquon Barkley More/Less Than 93.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Cooks More/Less Than 44.5 Receiving Yards
This line is too low for Cooks’ new role in what projects to be a fast, pass-heavy offense. Not only is he the #2 receiver on the Cowboys, he’s also a speed threat who could eclipse this total in a single route. The play correlates well with a Prescott over either on the special or with his regular passing yards line of 237.5 yards, which is too low as well.
Cooks projects to eclipse this total in both our RotoGrinders and Derek Carty’s THE BLITZ projections and should be poised for a big year in this Cowboys offense. All of these picks correlate well with the Cowboys scoring some points tonight, but Cooks’ more than 44.5 receiving yards is my favorite prop of the entire game regardless of how the script plays out.
Play: Brandin Cooks More Than 44.5 Receiving Yards
Lamb More/Less Than 73.5 Receiving Yards
Another play that pairs well with Prescott today, Lamb’s line is simply too low in this spot. The more than for Prescott feels like an easy call in this spot, and I could see him easily surpassing 275+ yards with at least 100 of them going to Lamb. The Cowboys have a new offensive coordinator and no more Ezekiel Elliot, and this offense should be fast and pass-heavier this year.
Lamb is one of the most electric receivers in the NFL and should realistically have his line set somewhere in the 80.5 yard range. I love correlating Prescott, Lamb, and Cooks together for a pass-heavy Cowboys game tonight against the Giants.
Play: Ceedee Lamb More Than 73.5 Receiving Yards
Barkley More/Less Than 93.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
The beauty of all 3 plays tonight is they correlate together perfectly for a full card on PrizePicks. Even without Prescott’s boost, his more than 237.5 passing yards prop paired with his two top receivers all have value. I’m not confident enough to say one of these teams will dominate the other tonight, which is why I love the idea of combining the rushing and receiving yards for Saquon Barkley alongside the other plays.
Regardless of whether the Giants are falling behind or are out ahead of the Cowboys, Saquon Barkley will be heavily involved in the game plan. If the Giants are leading they’ll be pounding the ball on the ground on the back of Barkley. Should the Cowboys take an early lead in this one, we can assume Daniel Jones will be getting pressured like crazy, using Barkley as a check down option, allowing Barkley to get out in the open field and rack up receiving yards.
