NFL PrizePicks: Jets vs. Browns Player Predictions for Thursday Night Football
After a string of exciting prime-time NFL games, it’s looking like an ugly matchup between the Jets vs. Browns tonight in Cleveland. Two of the league’s top defenses square off in what is likely to be a very low-scoring game. I thought I’d be heavy on the “Less Than” side of NFL PrizePicks predictions tonight, but the projections are so low that I’m actually on the opposite side tonight.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Jets vs. Browns
- Breece Hall – More Than 31.5 Receiving Yards
- Trevor Siemian – More Than 0.5 Passing TDs
- Jerome Ford – More Than 12.5 Rushing Attempts
Breece Hall – 31.5 Receiving Yards
Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson have been the two bright spots of the Jets’ putrid offense this season. Hall exploded last game against the Commanders for 96 receiving yards on 12 catches and a ridiculous 16 targets. While the matchup is much tougher against the Browns, Hall will likely be heavily involved in the passing game once again as the Jets are more than a touchdown underdogs. The RotoGrinders projections have Breece for 36 receiving yards tonight but I’m expecting him to be far closer to a ceiling game and for Semian to continue peppering him with targets.
Play: Hall – More Than 31.5 Receiving Yards
Trevor Siemian – 0.5 Passing TDs
While Trevor Siemian isn’t exactly taking the world by storm at QB, he hasn’t faired any worse than the other Jets QBs. While the Browns defense is incredibly tough, the Jets are likely to be coming from behind and Siemian could easily throw one into the end zone in garbage time. The RotoGrinders projections have Siemian for a 0.8 TD projection tonight and his 67.43% win rate is the highest of the game in the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks tonight.
Play: Siemian – More Than 0.5 Passing TDs
Jerome Ford – 12.5 Rushing Attempts
Although the Browns split carries between Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt, this number is still too low for Ford in a game where the Browns are favored by more than a touchdown. He’s projected for 12.51 carries tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and although that’s only slightly more than he’s listed at on NFL PrizePicks, if the game script goes his way this should be far higher. The Jets are much better against the pass than they are against the run so Joe Flacco could have a much tougher time slinging the ball like he has been and Ford could end up much more involved.
Play: Ford – More Than 12.5 Rushing Yards
