NFL PrizePicks: Saints vs. Jaguars Player Predictions for Thursday Night Football
While there may not be fireworks, the Thursday Night Football matchup featuring the Saints vs. Jaguars should at least be a close game. While I’m expecting mostly a defensive battle, there are still plenty of opportunities for successful DFS Pick’em predictions on PrizePicks. Trevor Lawrence is banged up but ultimately expected to play, and the Saints offense has disappointed early in the year, but there are still some specific plays that stand out as top options.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Saints vs. Jaguars
- Christian Kirk – More Than 51.5 Receiving Yards
- Chris Olave – More Than 62.5 Receiving Yards
- Alvin Kamara – More Than 29.5 Receiving Yards
Christian Kirk – 51.5 Receiving Yards
Although the Saints’ defense has been fantastic this season, the one place they’ve somewhat struggled is giving up fantasy points to slot receivers. Zay Jones has already been ruled out for Thursday Night Football, and Christian Kirk has played the vast majority of his snaps in the slot position in Jones’ absence. I don’t expect a lot of scoring in this game, but I still expect both teams to have moderate success in the yardage department. This number is simply too low for a player of Kirk’s caliber in this matchup. Kirk projects to have a 67% chance of surpassing his number according to the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks on RotoGrinders, and he has only been under 50 yards once this season and is my favorite DFS Pick’em predictions of the slate.
Play: Kirk – More Than 51.5 Receiving Yards
Chris Olave – 62.5 Receiving Yards
Another receiving with a number far too low for his abilities, Chris Olave is also an excellent DFS Pick’em play on PrizePicks. Olave has received double-digit targets in every game both he and Derek Carr have started and finished this season with his lowest receiving yardage total being 86 yards. He’s had a couple of duds this year when Carr went down, and he dealt with his own injuries. However, as long as they both stay in the game, Olave should easily be able to eclipse 62.5 receiving yards as a wildly talented player heavily involved in the Saints’ offensive plans.
Play: Olave – More Than 62.5 Receiving Yards
Alvin Kamara – 29.5 Receiving Yards
For the Thursday Night Football matchup featuring the Saints vs. Jaguars, we’re loading up on receiving yard predictions! In his 3 games since returning from suspension, Kamara has racked up a whopping 25 targets. While this hasn’t resulted in massive yardage yet, he’s still eclipsed the 30-yard mark in 2 of his 3 games and could surpass this number again with one broken tackle on a screen pass. Alvin Kamara to have more than 29.5 receiving yards has over a 60% success rate in the RotoGrinders NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks and should be heavily involved in the passing game, even with Jamaal Williams potentially returning. I mentioned previously I think these offenses could put up decent yardage tonight while struggling in the Red Zone, so I love the idea of pairing these predictions with either or both Kickers to exceed their Field Goal numbers on PrizePicks as well.
