Oof, talk about an UGLY game of football. The Steelers vs. Patriots match up tonight in the lowest total game of the season for Thursday Night Football. This one will likely be a stinker, but there are still some opportunities to profit tonight with NFL PrizePicks predictions. It’s been nearly 2 weeks since we’ve had more than a single prediction not go our way, so it’s time to continue the heater in one of the grossest football games we will see all year.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Steelers vs. Patriots
- Jaylen Warren + Ezekiel Elliott – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns (Combined)
- Chris Boswell – More Than 7.5 Fantasy Points
- Chad Ryland – More Than 5.5 Fantasy Points
Jaylen Warren + Ezekiel Elliott – 0.5 Touchdowns
With both Najee Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson are banged up in this one which should open up plenty of opportunities for Zeke and Warren to shine. While Najee is expected to play, Warren will likely get the bulk of the work, while Elliot is without Stevenson entirely. While this likely won’t be a high-scoring game, getting both starting running backs combined is too juicy of a combo to ignore. They project for a 0.69 touchdown projection together in the RotoGrinders projections tonight and are my two favorite players in the entire game to score a touchdown. I’m very interested in this combo as well as taking “More Than” on Diontae Johnson PrizePicks number for receiving yards as my only two offensive priorities from this game.
Play: Warren + Elliot – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
Chris Boswell – More Than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Since we’re done with the offense, it’s time to transition to the kickers. Chris Boswell will likely be heavily involved for the Steelers tonight as two offenses face off who can’t score and will find points to be at an absolute premium. Especially since both teams are down to their backup QBs, the kickers should have a frenzy. There’s not much to say here other than the fact this game will be low-scoring and there is a good chance Boswell good end up with more points than any other player playing.
Play: Boswell – More Than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Chad Ryland – More Than 5.5 Fantasy Points
While Ryland isn’t projected quite as high as Boswell according to the RotoGrinders projections, Ryland has a lower number on PrizePicks as well. Two field goals from any distance will allow him to eclipse this total and he may get there with just one long one and an extra point. I’m expecting each of these teams to score a maximum of one touchdown each and for the kickers to outscore their offensive teammates.
Play: Ryland – More Than 5.5 Fantasy Points
