NFL Week 13 Best Bets, Picks, and Predictions for Sunday

As we approach the holiday season, the NFL season is in full swing—which means plenty of opportunities for bettors to make some cash. Despite the chalk choking bettors in recent weeks, the market has eight teams favored by a touchdown or more on the spread this weekend, including five road teams. Let’s take a look at NFL odds and best bets for Week 13.

NFL Week 13 Best Bets

Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions +7.5, O/U 46.5

Everyone knows the old adage, “Good teams win games, but great teams only do enough to cover”…or something like that. The Detroit Lions are still looking for their first win of the season, but they are tied for the fifth-best record ATS in the league this fall. When these two teams met in Week 5, the Lions held a 17-16 lead with 37 seconds left before the Minnesota Vikings drove down-the-field for a game winning field goal as time expired. Reversing home field for the rematch, Detroit should be able to keep this intra-division contest competitive.

Pick: Lions +7.5 (-110)

Arizona Cardinals vs. Chicago Bears +7.5, O/U 42.5

The Arizona Cardinals are dealing with a number of injuries ahead of this contest, with questionable tags on an offensive lineman, Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and a member of their secondary. The Chicago Bears are banged up as well, but playing at home with the benefit of having Justin Fields on the sidelines should be enough to keep this game relatively close. Chicago played three consecutive games decided by one possession. Expect that trend to continue on Sunday, regardless of whether Arizona has Murray and Hopkins on the field, or not.

Pick: Bears +7.5 (-110)

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Rams -12.5, O/U 48

We do not hate all of the favorites this weekend. Not much of anything has gone well for the Los Angeles Rams over the last month of action, but a home date against the Jacksonville Jaguars could be exactly what this team needs to get back on track. The Rams went winless in November, but losses to the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers are hardly a revelation that Los Angeles is not a good team. On the contrary, this is still one of the best rosters in the NFL and due for some positive regression. The talent disparity between these two rosters is enormous. Take the Rams in this one.

Pick: Rams -12.5 (-110)

San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks +3.5, O/U 45.5

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the most offensively-challenged teams in the league this season, and the return of Russell Wilson to the field has surprisingly done little to change this fact. In three games since Wilson has returned to the field, the Seahawks have been shutout, scored 13 points, and scored 15 points—despite not playing any elite defenses in that span. The San Francisco 49ers are a team that loves to run the football, which means a lot of moving clock. Expect a low-scoring affair between these two teams on Sunday.

Pick: Under 45.5 (-110)
