NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Monday, February 2

Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?

Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon
Joda: Nathan MacKinnon

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – I expect the top-3 stacks tonight to also be 3 of the only lines with full power-play correlation. CHI1, COL1, and SJS1 are going to be very popular, solid plays. It might take some work to play some different stuff, but the only other fully correlated lines might be the place to look. The Sam Bennett line, NSH1, and NYI1 with Horvat and Barzal playing together could go under the radar, but if they hit, it could be a tournament-winning play.

Joda: Large-field GPPS – It is a 10-game slate, but some poor pricing will gravitate many DFS players to the Blackhawks. A stack of Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Sam Rinzel will cost only $4,650 per player, leaving a ton of salary for other skaters. Some paths I like in large-field tournaments are to flip the script, spend a little more, and lean on the San Jose side with Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, and find salary relief elsewhere. It is easy to build a game stack in the event the game shoots out. Utah also looks like a strong option against a Vancouver team that has the worst xGA/60 at even strength in the NHL over their last 10 games.
