What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – This take is spicy, but I will be under the field on the Oilers tonight. St. Louis has allowed a lot of goals this year, but that has been because of goaltending much more than defense. Their expected goals against have been roughly average, with the goaltending bringing down their goals against, and when projecting forward, 12 games of poor goaltending this season does not matter much. This goaltending tandem would have been considered basically league average coming into this season, and I would still consider that to be the case. More importantly, the Oilers are one of the teams most reliant on the power play to score goals, and for that reason, this is a tough matchup for their stars—not only because they are the away team, which gets fewer power-play opportunities on average, but also because this Blues team stays out of the penalty box. They have taken the 4th-fewest penalties this season and have been 2nd best in that measure in each of the 3 years prior.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. Pittsburgh has been a surprise thus far, but it is hard to see them continuing to find success. Auston Matthews and the Leafs stand out as the premier team to target tonight on home ice. There are plenty of ways to stack around Matthews as well, with Matthew Knies and Nicholas Robertson, as well as PP1 options, like John Tavares, William Nylander, Easton Cowan and Morgan Rielly. Seattle is a tricky team to target, but they provide some options for large-field tournaments as well.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
