What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs. The slate features good matchups for the star players from Colorado, Edmonton, and Toronto. I will be avoiding one-offs from these teams’ top lines and top power-play units. For example, if your lineup’s main stack is EDM1, you should be rooting for the expensive COL players to fail, so I am not going to have Lehkonen or Nichushkin in my lineups even though they are pretty cheap plays with good upside.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. All of the Big 3 centers (MacKinnon, Matthews, and McDavid) are on this short slate. They are all in plus matchups and come with affordable linemates. I am giving the edge to MacKinnon. I am going to go heavy with his linemates at even strength and on the power play.

Hunter4ever89: I will be playing both large-field and small-field high-stakes contests today. This looks like it will be a fun, high-scoring slate. We have lots of stars playing in decent matchups. I will look get some Edmonton and Colorado pieces into my lineups together. I most likely will have to do some mini 2-man stacks and get additional value elsewhere to make it work. I am hoping this construction makes my lineups a bit unique compared to the conventional 4- and 3-man stacks.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
