What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. This is shaping up to be a stars-and-scrubs slate. The Avalanche are going to be the obvious spend-up options, and I am certainly going to get to at least two of the big three from Colorado. There is also some really nice value today. The Predators and Kings have really cheap pieces that you can fill in around Colorado or whichever expensive stack you choose.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – As much as I love Colorado’s top line, I plan to spread my exposure around to several different stacks since there is so much talent to choose from on tonight’s slate. This will make finding some cheap lines to pair with all the studs very important, but fortunately, there is some nice value, especially on defense where I plan to target some punt options to open up salary.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. As good of a matchup as Colorado has, let us not forget that Connor McDavid and Nikita Kucherov are on this slate, and they have slate-breaking upside. Even with the Avalanche, I think there are some interesting secondary stacks and pieces that can differentiate lineups. Additionally, San Jose has been far more competitive, and it would not surprise me to see a back-and-forth affair.
