What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. There is a lot of really nice cheap value on this slate, so paying up for studs really won’t be an issue. I intend to get to two $8,000-plus players on my single-entry and cash game team.

Joda: Single-entry is my preferred format tonight. San Jose’s top line projects very well and should be productive, but whether they break the slate is to be determined. One line I like in tournaments as a slightly more expensive pivot is Pittsburgh’s top line. They make for an interesting leverage play against a reasonably popular Jordan Binnington. Vegas is another team that has my interest, as Columbus has really struggled defensively. Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, along with Tomas Hertl and Pavel Dorofeyev, are great tournament targets.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
