What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs are my preferred formats. The Stars are in the best spot on the board. Just make sure to check in the NHL RotoGrinders Discord before the game starts to see if Roope Hintz plays, as that could shuffle the projected lines. A couple of different stacks I like if you are looking to get different ones are NJ1, NJ2, and PIT1.

boggslite: I’m playing single-entry tournaments tonight. The Stars’ loaded top line is what I will be building around, with a great home matchup against the Ducks. I’m hoping their steep price tags keep their ownership in check, but I will look to differentiate my lineups with my secondary stack. If I can’t get to Jake Oettinger in my lineup, I’ll likely spend down at goalie and use the savings for the rest of my lineup.

Joda: Single entry is my preferred tournament format tonight. Dallas should dominate roster construction, but there are several things working against Dallas: They are dead last with the Wild for fewest 5-on-5 goals, and Lukas Dostal has a league-best 10.9 goals saved above expected. It is easy to get different just by fading the Stars’ top line. David Pastrnak makes a lot of sense as a one-off against a struggling Linus Ullmark and Ottawa’s dead-last penalty kill. Carolina could fly under the radar against Minnesota’s porous penalty kill. Tage Thompson and the Sabres get a Blues goaltending duo that cannot make a stop.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
