NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Thursday, October 1
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
TastefulTides: Connor McDavid
boggslite: Connor McDavid
Joda: Connor McDavid
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: My initial lean on this slate is to do a full onslaught stack of the Wild against the Predators. MIN1 and MIN2 are really cheap, but I will most likely try to get exposure to both lines by getting to a MIN PP1 stack. You can also add in the Wild goalie for full correlation.
boggslite: As much as I love the idea of going back to the well with Edmonton after a surprising loss, I plan to spread things around a bit. Utah, Buffalo, and Minnesota are teams I will target to get different with my lineups. They all have great matchups and have plenty of upside this early in the season, where we are likely to see some lopsided games.
Joda: Edmonton is still my top option, but tonight gives us a few more ways to go. I like Minnesota as well, with Kirill Kaprizov and his cheap Russian linemates or the Matt Boldy line with the always-reliable Blake Coleman. San Jose and Florida offer some upside too, giving me pivots if I need to chase points after the early games.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
