What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – I think you can consider fading likely the best pay-up option in cash games, Connor McDavid, in GPPs. There are a lot of good options on this slate, and while McDavid has a solid matchup, it is probably overrated. First of all, for his career, McDavid has been significantly better at home, where he has averaged 1.66 points a game compared to 1.41 on the road. Also, he has a rest disadvantage from playing last night. Most importantly, his teammates are getting expensive. Really, both the goalies facing the popular teams, Juuse Saros and Dustin Wolf, are good options in lineups where you are fading Edmonton or Columbus.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments. With most of the elite skaters playing on consecutive nights on the road, we will likely see some unpredictable outcomes. I want to spread my exposure around and also find myself gravitating to some lesser-known players in the VAN/OTT and CGY/CBJ games, especially since there isn’t a lot of great value.

Joda: Large-field GPPs are my preferred format tonight. Erik Karlsson was placed on IR out of nowhere, so Kris Letang checks in as a strong value on defense. Though the matchup isn’t great, particularly against Andrei Vasilevskiy, Letang has a reasonable floor, and the projected PP1 bump provides him some upside, with the Lightning on a back-to-back without Brayden Point. My favorite team is the Blue Jackets, as the Flames give up far too many chances for their own good. On the flip side, the coaching change could cause chaos for Columbus, and the Calgary side will come at a fraction of the ownership.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
