What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – Outside of Vancouver, I am expecting the ownership to be spread out when it comes to skaters and goalies alike. Due to this, I will be focusing less on ownership or leverage and more on just making highly correlated lineups that project to score well.
boggslite: Large-field GPPs – We have a balanced, 7-game slate where there are still plenty of ways to get different while not having to worry too much about spreading your exposure around. I will likely go with a stars and scrubs approach to lineup construction, focusing on paying up for the studs who have slate-breaking potential and taking advantage of the value skaters in great spots.
Joda: Small-field GPPs are my preferred format this evening. I intend to stick to a core utilizing Vancouver’s top 6 and will look to another stack or pieces to round out roster construction. The price points and the matchup for the Canucks are great, and I’m fairly confident they have a good chance to pay off their salary against Calgary. There are a number of good options to build around them.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
