What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – The best value pay-up options on the slate, Kirill Kaprizov, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sam Reinhart, don’t have ideal teammates to stack with, lacking good value linemates with power-play correlation. However, I think they will be very popular anyway, and for mostly good reason. I do think this causes otherwise mediocre-value, fully correlated lines to look more promising, though. MTL1, NYR1, ANA1, VGK2, and WPG1 might not have great value, but they shouldn’t have much ownership, and if they score multiple goals, you could have a GPP-winning lineup with multiple 3-point bonuses.

boggslite: I prefer single-entry tournaments. Despite plenty of big-name talent to choose from, Kirill Kaprizov and the Wild are in the best spot, and I’ll be over the field on their top power-play unit. Outside of Minnesota, other teams I like for tournaments are Colorado, Montreal, and Winnipeg.

Joda: Large-field GPPs are my preferred tournament format tonight. With Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Nathan MacKinnon facing off against tougher competition, Kirill Kaprizov is the standout spend for me. “The Thrill” gets to take on rag-doll Justus Annunen and a thin Predators team on the back end of a back-to-back after giving up 5 goals last night. I like more midrange builds tonight that are centered around Minnesota. One team I like is Montreal. Nick Suzuki leads the league in points since the 4 Nations Faceoff. The Stars and Islanders could be sneaky too.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
