Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Nathan MacKinnon – There are other studs on this slate, but when factoring in matchup and overall skill set, I am willing to pay the premium for MacKinnon as the primary spend-up skater. Yes, he will be highly owned, but I think the ceiling in this spot is so high that he could eliminate lineups that don’t roster him. He has been a little inconsistent this past week or so, but that isn’t going to stop me from rostering him.

boggslite: Connor McDavid – He’s playing on the tail end of a back-to-back, but he always seems to find another gear in this rivalry matchup against Calgary, who recently traded their top defensemen. He has plenty of chemistry with his linemates and will look to avenge a disappointing loss last night against Toronto in what should be a high-scoring game.
