What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – At home vs. a Sharks team that played last night, everyone on the Kings is too cheap. This is even more the case because Anze Kopitar and Joel Armia are likely hurt for this one, so there will be added minutes to go around. On a fairly small slate like this, playing the Sharks goalie, Yaroslav Askarov, is a good strategy if you are not including the Kings skaters in your lineup. The Kings will be popular. If they fail, you will have lots of dead lineups competing with you, and Askarov should put up a good score.
boggslite: Single-entry tournaments are my preferred format tonight. On a night with a lot of uncertainty featuring several inconsistent teams, this slate lends itself to GPPs. Outside of the Kings, ownership should be relatively spread out despite only having 5 games to choose from. I plan to be overweight on Dallas, who is hungry for a win despite playing on consecutive nights, facing a banged-up Washington team that has had their own struggles of late.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
