What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. The spend-ups on this slate leave a lot to be desired, so I think I will mostly live in the mid-range. The Stars will be popular, and we should continue to stream against the Sharks. If you want to get off of some ownership, I would suggest either the Kings or Predators.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – I plan to take a balanced approach to roster construction, building around the mid-range value from Dallas. They tend to get scoring from multiple lines and rarely blow teams out, but a home matchup against the Sharks is too good to pass up. I also plan to pay up for goalie, as I don’t believe the risk is worth the reward from the cheaper options.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
