NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, December 23
Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon – He has easily the best point prop on the slate to go along with being tied for the best shot prop, and he is also on a 17-game point streak, where he has 33 points total over that time with 75 shots. Arizona has improved, but the game is in Colorado, and it’s still a good matchup.
TastefulTides: Auston Matthews – It’s really a coin flip between Matthews and Nathan MacKinnon. I think the Maple Leafs respond in a big way after their embarrassing loss to the Sabres a couple of days ago. The Blue Jackets are one of the worst defensive teams at 5v5, and I fully expect Matthews to come out aggressively in this matchup and put up a big individual total.
Joda: Auston Matthews – He has a goal in 6 consecutive games. During this stretch, he has gathered 10 total goals. Columbus is one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL, so Matthews should stretch his goal-scoring streak to 7 straight.
