NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, April 11

Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?

TastefulTides: Auston Matthews
ezellmt: Auston Matthews
boggslite: Auston Matthews

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

TastefulTides: Dylan Larkin – This is a must-win game for both teams. Larkin and his linemates should see 20 or more minutes of ice time. In his last 5 games, he is averaging 5.2 shots on goal per game. He is too cheap, and his linemates come in very cheap as well and get full correlation on the first power play unit.

ezellmt: Bo Horvat – Horvat has been a poor man’s Auston Matthews lately, which isn’t an insult. He has goals in 4 of 5 games. His usage is down slightly from the crazy rates he was seeing when Patrick Roy first took over, but the efficiency has gone up. The Islanders are in a playoff spot for now but need every point they can get, ensuring that Horvat and company will see all the ice time they can handle.

boggslite: Bo Horvat – Much like the rest of his team, Horvat has had an up-and-down season, but the Islanders are fighting for their playoff lives and draw a great matchup at home against a weak Montreal team. I especially like his chances of breaking through on the man advantage against an undisciplined Canadiens team that ranks 25th in PK%.
