UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris Odds, Fight Card, & More

Team sports such as baseball and basketball continue to sit the bench due to the global coronavirus pandemic, but the UFC presses on after a successful, fan-less return last Saturday.

UFC 249 dodged what some thought might be a knockout punch when fighter Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza tested positive for COVID-19 the day before the event.

Souza was pulled from UFC 249 and the show went on, giving sports fans and sports bettors their first taste of live sports in the U.S. since early March.

UFC President Dana White carried the momentum from the weekend, holding two more UFC events this week, the first of which was on Wednesday.

U.S. Sportsbooks presumably fared well during Wednesday’s Fight Night, headlined by Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira, as the card saw a handful of upsets.

Smith, who was nearly a 2-to-1 favorite, was shocked by Teixeira in the fifth and final round of the night. Before that, Andrei Arlovski beat Philipe Lins as a +160 underdog.

Will upsets continue this Saturday during UFC Florida or will the chalk fight back? We don’t have UFC betting picks — you can see what our UFC DFS expert Brett Appleby has to say regarding the upcoming bouts — but we do have UFC Florida odds. Let’s start by highlighting some of the best MMA promos in the sports betting industry of Saturday.
