Primetime Parlay: Packers vs. Eagles Same Game Parlay Picks

Packers vs Eagles Same Game Parlay

Through thousands of simulations using ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool we aim to create profitable same-game parlays across sports betting sites. We will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sportsbooks to find the best price for a fun primetime parlay sweat. Today, we build a Sunday Night Football same-game parlay for the Packers vs Eagles.

The Green Bay Packers travel to Philadelphia to close Thanksgiving weekend with a primetime matchup versus the Eagles. Just when we thought the Packers could build up some momentum, the Titans traveled to Lambeau Field to beat the home team. The Eagles, on the other hand, pulled out a victory on the road against the Colts.

The Birds look to be a rock-solid playoff team, but the Cowboys continue to creep, as they have become far healthier. Playing at home, the Eagles need to keep taking advantage of a very soft schedule. For us, we look to build a same-game parlay ticket after missing by just one leg in our last go. Let’s take a peek at some odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Same Game Parlay for Packers vs. Eagles

The Eagles are 6.5-point favorites at home on Sunday night on FanDuel Sportsbook. The line has bounced a bit back-and-forth within a point but with only 57% of the money on the Eagles’ side, we shouldn’t expect a big shift. The implied game total rests at 46.5 with 86% of the money on the under.

Romeo Doubs is out on Sunday night with his ankle injury. De’Vondre Campbell is doubtful for the contest with his knee injury. Aside from an A.J. Brown illness, the Eagles come in with a relatively clean bill of health. That is, if you disregard the season-ending loss of Dallas Goedert from two weeks ago. Philadelphia will roll with there trio of young tight ends again as wide receivers pick up the slack in the passing game.

Same Game Parlay Picks – Packers & Eagles Props

Aaron Jones Over 57.5 Rushing Yards

The Eagles’ defense is one that can be had on the ground. Evidenced by the performances of running backs over the last two weeks, it is clear that the best way to beat this defense is to run and take the air out of the football. Aaron Jones is a bit inconsistent, but with enough touches, he should be able to go over this rushing mark.

Jones rushed twelve times against the stingy Titans’ defense for only 40 yards. The Titans are the antithesis of the Eagles though and are easily beaten in the air. When Jones saw 24 carries against a softer Dallas rushing defense, he came through for 138 yards. The Eagles have a defense that should be exploited by both Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. Both backs are more than capable of having a nice day. For what it’s worth, this was the most prominent prop for ParlayIQ, found in 61% of the simulations. I agree. Let’s start here.

A.J. Brown Under 71.5 Receiving Yards

Speaking of defensive tendencies, the Eagles and Packers both stifle passing games while allowing much more on the ground. A.J. Brown has three consecutive weeks with less than 71.5 receiving yards — even after the loss of Dallas Goedert. Barring a big play, I think that trend continues.

The Packers, like the Eagles, give up far more to opposing rushing attacks than they do to the passing game. This game might be over in a hurry with both teams comfortable running the football with the bevy of competent backs available. Miles Sanders and even Jalen Hurts should see plenty of opportunities on the ground to control the tempo of the game and stay on top of the Packers.

Brown is always one missed tackle away from a huge play. Without that huge play, however, he has not been able to put together enough to give me much confidence in him going over this number.

Jalen Hurts Under 224.5 Passing Yards

Correlating with our previous prop, I am going to go ahead and marry Jalen Hurts’ passing under with A.J. Brown above. If the Eagles commit to running the ball and the Packers do the same, Hurts might not put together enough attempts to have a big passing game.

The Eagles are second to the Bears in rushing attempts per game (32.9 attempts). As a pretty hefty home favorite, the offensive game plan can easily be to play conservative and attack the Packers’ weakness. When you consider the Packers might do the same thing, we should be pretty bearish on the passing games.

Robert Tonyan Over 25.5 Receiving Yards

Finally, we include one receiving over that should help us with pricing on FanDuel. Without Romeo Doubs, the Packers will need to pass the ball to some of Aaron Rodgers’ other receivers that he trusts. Christian Watson continues to establish himself as a playmaker while Allen Lazard is the trusty hand. The same can be said for Robert Tonyan, who should see enough action to get the job done.

Tonyan had a string of four contests over this number before slowing down against the Cowboys and Titans. Tonyan should be on the field a lot given the high volume of running plays the Packers’ will likely run on Sunday night. Some of those plays could be play action or maybe checks at the line, and Tonyan stumbles back into his normal 4-5 targets.

With a very tough defense for wide receivers, Aaron Rodgers might need to lean on the short and intermediate game to supplement the running game. We close our ticket with Tonyan’s over.
