Thursday, January 25th
After a quiet two-game slate last night, the National Hockey League schedule explodes tonight with 15 games of action on deck, before we head into a four day layoff thanks to the All-Star break. The Vegas Golden Knights, Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues are tonight’s biggest favorites, and we have three teams (Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames) playing on consecutive nights.

Carter Hutton, St. Louis Blues – With 15 games on the schedule, we have quite a few options in goal tonight for your cash game lineup. The Vegas Golden Knights are the biggest favorite, but the New York Islanders can score, so that is an easy fade for me. The Dallas Stars are up next, but I just can’t get on board with Ben Bishop, as he rarely sees a ton of shots, and like the Islanders, the Toronto Maple Leafs can put the biscuit in the basket. That leaves me debating between Tuukka Rask and Carter Hutton. Rask has been outstanding lately and he should see 30-plus shots on his way to the win, but with Hutton being the cheaper option and on home ice, I am going to give him the slight edge. Hutton has been sensational all season long (1.79 GAA, .941 SV%), and I think we see another strong performance from him this evening.
