PrizePicks NBA Player Picks Today: Top Plays for December 30th

It’s a small slate that feels even smaller on NBA PrizePicks thanks to the Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks completing a blockbuster trade. The Raptors sent OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa to the Knicks for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and draft picks. While this opens up a lot of value on websites like DraftKings and FanDuel, it makes things a lot tougher on PrizePicks, where those teams have been completely removed from the board.

NBA PrizePicks Predictions Today
Stephen Curry – More Than 4.5 three-pointers Made
The Dallas Mavericks have been poor defensively and playing at a fast pace this season. Additionally, they’ve been one of the worst teams in basketball at defending the three-point line. This is the perfect set up for the best shooter of all time, Stephen Curry. He projects for more than 5 threes tonight according to the RotoGrinders projections, and as long as this game stays close, he should be in line for a really big night. He’s struggled recently, but this is the perfect get-right spot for Steph.
- Play: Curry – More Than 4.5 3-PT Made
Karl-Anthony Towns – More Than 8.5 Rebounds
Towns projects for more than 9 rebounds tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and finds himself in a nice spot against the Lakers. He averages 9.3 rebounds on the season, and as long as he doesn’t play limited minutes, he should smash this number on PrizePicks like he has been doing all season long. Having Rudy Gobert boxing out Anthony Davis inside at the center position should open up additional rebounds for Towns, similar to what we see in Milwaukee with Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
- Play: Towns – More Than 8.5 Rebounds
Jalen Duren – More Than 1.5 Turnovers
While this is a bit of an obscure choice, the number of injuries and trades today have significantly limited the options on PrizePicks. The Raptors defense is sure to take a hit without OG Anunoby, but Duren should still have a tough time inside up against Jakob Poeltl. The 19-year-old has been a stud defensively but has struggled a bit at times with his offense. He projects for 2.3 turnovers tonight in the RotoGrinders projections, which is the largest differential from his PrizePicks projection of any player on the slate.
- Play: Duren – More Than 1.5 Turnovers
Additional PrizePicks Plays
Klay Thompson – More Than 3.5 three-pointers Made
Luka Doncic – Less Than 9.5 Rebounds
Tyrese Haliburton – More Than 12.5 Assists
