PrizePicks NBA Player Picks Today: Top Plays for November 2

It’s been a frustrating past couple of days of NBA DFS on PrizePicks. Two nights ago, Josh Okogie finished 0.1 fantasy points away from every single card hitting. Last night, Lamelo Ball finished 1 point away from making every single thing click for me on DraftKings. However, tonight is a new night and we’re ready to do better than just doubling up for the NBA PrizePicks top player picks on November 2nd.

If you’re new to the site, be sure to take advantage of our special PrizePicks promo code. With the code “GRINDERS,” you can claim a 100% match bonus on your first deposit of up to $100.

Remember, you can also keep tabs on the best PrizePicks picks of the day with our Pick’em Tool. We’re constantly updating this throughout the day in order to account for the latest news, but there’s still value to be found earlier in the afternoon, as well.

NBA PrizePicks Predictions Today

Dennis Schroder – More Than 12.5 Points

I’m going to keep going back to the well over and over again until the DFS Pick’em sites like PrizePicks catch up on Dennis Schroder. While I’m still not sold on the long-term success of the Raptors with Schroder at the starting point guard position, he’s been producing incredibly well from a fantasy standpoint. He has scored over 12.5 real-life points in all but two games this year, eclipsing the 20-point plateau in two of them as well. He’s playing mid-30s minutes and projects for nearly 15 points in the RotoGrinders projections and draws a strong individual matchup tonight against Tyrese Maxey. This is my favorite NBA DFS Pick’em PrizePicks prediction on the slate.

Talen Horton-Tucker – More Than 23 Fantasy Points

This is the #1 play in the RotoGrinders NBA Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks with over a 75% success rate. As the starting point guard for the Jazz, THT has eclipsed 23 fantasy points in all but two games, in which he played limited minutes. He projects for over 27 fantasy points tonight with a floor projection of over 20. When the Jazz have been in close games this year, THT gets minutes, which is really the only potential concern with him tonight. As only 1 point underdogs to the Magic tonight, the Jazz should be able to keep this one close enough for Talen Horton-Tucker to surpass his number of 23 fantasy points tonight on PrizePicks.

Joel Embiid – Less Than 16.5 Rebounds + Assists

This number just feels off. Embiid has admittedly had an absurdly high assist rate to start the year, but that’s not something that’s likely to continue. While it makes sense that without someone like Ben Simmons or James Harden handling the ball all the time his numbers would go up, but 7 assists per game is too good to be true. The RotoGrinders projections have Joel Embiid for 8.88 rebounds and 4.84 assists tonight, totaling 13.72 combined, well short of the number on PrizePicks. Embiid has a 72.1% success rate for this NBA DFS prediction in the NBA Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks and is my second favorite play of the slate behind Schroder.

Jakob Poeltl – More Than 8.5 Points

As long as Jakob Poeltl stays out of foul trouble against the 76ers, this is an easy smash. However, that’s no easy task when you’re stuck guarding Joel Embiid. Poeltl projects for nearly 12 points tonight, well over his number on PrizePicks. Unfortunately, he has shown signs of foul trouble throughout his career and even just this year facing off against Vucevic and Embiid in previous games. Having said that, foul trouble is incredibly hard to predict, and this is an easy number for Poeltl to surpass as long as he gets the necessary minutes. The Raptors will need him on the floor as much as possible going up against Embiid, and he should be in line for a double-double if he can get over 25 minutes in this spot.
