PrizePicks NFL Player Predictions: Three Picks for Thanksgiving Day
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! Being here in Canada, it’ll be a few days heavy on content and light on Turkey for me. However, I’m thankful that’s the case as there are some really exciting games from an NFL DFS perspective on the Thanksgiving Slate. This is definitely the case on PrizePicks, as there are a plethora of great spots for us to profit while spending some time with family.

Top PrizePicks NFL Predictions for Thanksgiving
- Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb More Than 0.5 Touchdowns (Combo)
- Tony Pollard – More Than 63.5 Rushing Yards
- David Montgomery – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb – 0.5 Touchdowns (Combo)
The Washington Commanders defense is absolutely abysmal. This is my favorite NFL DFS PrizePicks prediction of the entire Thanksgiving slate by far, as this combo seems too good to pass up. The RotoGrinders projections have the Lamb+Prescott combo with a 0.83 Touchdown projection tonight, far closer to 1 than 0.5. Additionally, the Commanders defense is now without Chase Young and Montez Sweat, giving up fantasy points at a ridiculously high rate. While Tony Pollard finally crept into the endzone last week, the Cowboys have consistently shown all season they don’t mind passing or running with Dak as they get close to the endzone. Additionally, while the Commanders are terrible defensively, Sam Howell has been good enough to keep their team in games so that the opposing teams can keep racking up points.
Play: Prescott + Lamb – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns (Combo)
Tony Pollard – 63.5 Rushing Yards
Speaking of the Commanders’ horrific defense, let’s keep it going with Tony Pollard. While he has struggled to find the endzone this year, yards have been no issue. Although he only averages about 59 yards per contest, there are no better matchups at this point in the season than the Washington Commanders. There have been plenty of different quotes from the Cowboys’ team that various players have had their turns to “eat” offensively this year, and now Pollard’s turn is coming. The Cowboys are 10.5-point favorites in this game, and I expect Pollard to easily eclipse 63.5 rushing yards on Thanksgiving with a positive game script.
Play: Pollard – More Than 63.5 Rushing Yards
David Montgomery – 0.5 Touchdowns
Before his injury, Montgomery was the clear goal-line back while getting the majority of snaps and rushing work. Since his return, Jahmir Gibbs has picked up a far more involved role. However, these have also come with game scripts that have required the Lions to be more pass-heavy where it makes more sense to have Gibbs on the field. Since he has played so well, I don’t expect Gibbs to go away anytime soon, but this Thanksgiving game screams David Montgomery. The Lions are near double-digit favorites at home and Montgomery is coming off a game where he had 12 carries for 70+ yards and a touchdown despite a negative script throughout. He has scored a touchdown in all but one game he has played in this season and I don’t expect that trend to stop against the lowly Packers.
