Hello Grinders. Dave is on vacation today so I have the privilege of covering for him on this massive 15-game slate. At first glance it’s a really interesting slate with a few aces up top, a loaded mid-tier, a few young pitchers still trying to find their way in the Majors, and (thankfully) no Coors Field to deal with. I’ll do my best to break things down for us. Let’s dive in.

Question 1: What Do We Do At Pitching?

With 15 games on the slate, that means we have 30 starting pitchers to work with. What I like doing on a slate this big is to try and narrow down my player pool at pitcher to make things more manageable. Let’s scan the list of pitchers, bucket them into tiers, and then try and eliminate some based on matchups, skill set and price tags since my goal on a slate this big is to take some stands.
