Weather Report for Ravens at Jaguars

Latest forecast models have been pretty aggressive on the wind gusts, as an outer band from a nearby storm system could be pulling away from Jacksonville right around gametime. There’s at least a chance for rain, especially early, but winds are my main concern as wind gusts could end up anywhere from 30-40mph. Those stronger gusts will impact deeper throws and FG attempts or punts. I’ll keep the forecast updated here on my NFL weather, and on Twitter, @KevinRothWx .

Betting & Fantasy Weather Notes

With winds gusting 30-40mph, I think we see a negative impact to passing and to special teams. It’s not at the level of being unable to throw the ball, but I do think deeper throws will be more difficult to connect on with the gusty winds in place. Long field goals will be similarly difficult, especially as the westerly wind is a crosswind at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.
