Primetime Parlay: Ravens vs. Bengals Same Game Parlay Picks
ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool simulates NFL contests thousands of times using RotoGrinders’ NFL Statistical Projections. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a Wild Card Weekend same-game parlay for the Ravens vs Bengals.
Lamar Jackson will not make the start for the Ravens in a playoff matchup against division-rival Cincinnati. The loss of Lamar leaves the Ravens scrambling at the quarterback position while the Bengals are firing on all cylinders. Will Baltimore be able to overcome all of this adversity? Will Cincinnati begin another magical playoff run? For us, the Sunday night contest is another opportunity to have some fun with a same-game parlay. Let’s go over the game and build a ticket.
Same Game Parlay for Ravens vs. Bengals
FanDuel Sportsbook figures the Baltimore Ravens as 8.5-point underdogs on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals. With the Ravens lacking a strong option at the quarterback position, Baltimore will lean on a recently stalwart defense to attempt to advance.
The implied game total is 40.5 points. Per SAO, 88% of the betting handle is on the under in this contest, and justifiably so. The Ravens will likely struggle to score points without earning excellent field position. The Bengals should be able to control the game without taking too many risks.
The Bengals will have Tee Higgins after landing on the injury report with an illness. He will play Sunday night. Cincinnati, however, will be without the services of G Alex Cappa. The Bengals’ revamped offensive line will be without a key piece. Ghosts of the 2022 playoffs past will hopefully not visit the Bengals as Joe Burrow was hit over and over last season. For the Ravens, Lamar Jackson is out and Tyler Huntley should play with a shoulder injury. Reports indicate that both Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown will play quarterback with Huntley possibly focused more on running the football and Brown throwing.
This game feels very much like a case of hammer versus nail. The Bengals just dominated the Ravens when it did not mean much. At home, in the playoffs, do we suspect we will see a repeat performance? Let’s put together a same-game parlay ticket for tonight’s game.
Same Game Parlay Picks – Ravens & Bengals Props
Ja’Marr Chase Over 76.5 Receiving Yards
Ja’Marr Chase was sensational last weekend against the Ravens and targeted heavily. Why wouldn’t the Bengals take advantage of the same matchup the following week?
ParlayIQ projects Chase to hit this over in about 56% of our simulations. While that is not an overwhelming number, the support is enough for my own hunch. The Bengals will struggle to run the football against the Ravens but are too explosive to be completely stopped in the air.
Chase will see his double-digit targets and make enough big plays to get over this number. We start here and look for better value elsewhere.
J.K. Dobbins Under 61.5 Rushing Yards
While the Ravens will need to be creative, ParlayIQ loves going under Dobbins’ rushing total. I suppose if Tyler Huntley is going to run the football, Dobbins is less likely to accumulate yardage.
Dobbins didn’t play last week in a slightly meaningless game. The Bengals are very likely to slam the box with as many defenders as possible and dare the Ravens to beat them in the air. Once the Bengals have a nice lead, Dobbins running the football feels far less likely.
I am happy to take the under on this rushing prop in what projects to be a one-sided affair.
Isaiah Likely Over 14.5 Receiving Yards
While Mark Andrews will suit up in this contest, why wouldn’t the Ravens want Isaiah Likely on the field more often? While Likely is not known for his blocking prowess, will the Ravens be running the football all game?
That is probably their hope, but I don’t see this script happening this way. Instead, I expect the Ravens will ultimately have to throw, and why not incorporate a target with Likely’s size and playmaking ability? He has vanished when Andrews is on the field, but we are at the point of make-or-break for the Ravens. All of the stops will be pulled out. I think they will get Likely the ball when they can.
Fifteen yards feel like nothing after last week’s performance. Perhaps I am just box score watching, but I don’t think the Ravens will have the luxury of running the football over and over again. We close our ticket with the young tight end.
