Primetime Parlay: Ravens vs. Jaguars Same Game Parlay Picks

Sunday Night Football brings another opportunity to build a same-game parlay at FanDuel Sportsbook. The Ravens travel to Duvall County for a pivotal AFC matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The top of the AFC became far more interesting last week when all the top seeds fell. With the Chiefs a prohibitive favorite, the Ravens and Jaguars look for a key win to keep pace with the conference’s top. Further, the Jaguars find themselves in a phenomenal position this weekend. The Texans will be without C.J. Stroud against the Titans and are underdogs. A win for the Jaguars might provide the necessary breathing room to get healthy with a divisional title ahead of the playoffs.

Let’s take a look at betting odds, news, and notes before building an SGP ticket on FanDuel.

Ravens vs. Jaguars Same Game Parlay Preview

The Jaguars are 3.5-point home underdogs on Sunday night. Per ScoresAndOdds, 60% of betting tickets and money have taken the side of the Ravens’ 3.5-point spread. The implied game total is 40.5 points, with a massive percentage of both bet slips and money taking the under on Sunday night.

Trevor Lawrence, Zay Jones, and Travis Etienne all cleared the injury report and will play Sunday night. All of the big-time playmakers for the Jaguars should continue to see an uptick in the absence of Chris Kirk, who led the wide-receiving corps in targets before falling to injury. For the Ravens, the only new bit of injury news this week concerns safety Kyle Hamilton, who is questionable to play with an MCL sprain. Lamar Jackson will continue to lean on Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham, and Isaiah Likely in the absence of Mark Andrews.

Here are the notable offensive statistics for both teams ahead of Sunday night’s contest:

Baltimore Offense
1st — 27.8 PPG
4th — 5.8 YPP
4th — 7.7 Passing YPA
2nd — 4.9 Rushing YPA

Jacksonville Offense
9th — 24.0 PPG
17th — 5.2 YPP
11th — 7.2 Passing YPA
31st — 3.6 Rushing YPA

When sifting through these statistics, one thing is pretty clear. Statistically speaking, the Ravens’ offense is supreme. Lamar Jackson continues to play at an elite level with a stronger cast of weapons than he ever suited up with in his career. Jacksonville is strong, but the lack of Christian Kirk will only make it more difficult to hide the complete lack of running game the Jaguars have weekly.

Despite allowing 20.3 PPG over the past three weeks, the Ravens are still the second-best scoring defense in the NFL, holding teams to 16.8 PPG. With an offense as dynamic as the Ravens possess, this type of defense means lofty dreams come playoff time. The Jaguars’ defense is below average and has allowed 28.7 PPG over the last few weeks. Jacksonville is trending in the wrong direction and could have been bailed out greatly by the injury to C.J. Stroud.

Let’s take a look at what ParlayIQ makes of tonight’s game and build our ticket.

Same Game Parlay Picks for Ravens at Jaguars

Travis Etienne Over 50.5 Rushing Yards

Baltimore is ranked 21st in rushing yards per attempt on the defensive side of the football. Quite possibly the only chink in the armor of this defense, the Jaguars should exploit this as much as possible at home.

The Jaguars are one of the least efficient rushing attacks in the NFL. With that said, this defense causes fits to the passing game. Trying to get Etienne going should only help keep drives alive and also keep Lamar Jackson off of the football field.

ParlayIQ has this over in 70% of simulations. That’s good enough for me.

Isaiah Likely Over 33.5 Receiving Yards

The Jaguars are in the bottom ten of the league concerning yards to the tight end position. The Jags allowed 63 catches and 763 yards to the position.

Likely has emerged as a serious threat in the short game and the red zone for Lamar Jackson. Last week, Likely caught five passes for 83 yards, highlighted by a 54-yard touchdown. Against this defense, Likely should see another 6-7 targets and has the big-play ability to take the lid off of the defense.

Odell Beckham Over 37.5 Receiving Yards

The current run Odell Beckham is on feels very much like his run with the Rams en route to their Super Bowl victory. Beckham was cheated out of that game by an injury but seems hell-bent on reaching that pinnacle one more time in his career.

Beckham has become a feature piece of the Baltimore offense since Mark Andrews left for the IR. Last week, Lamar targeted his receiver ten times. Beckham hauled in five for 97 yards and a touchdown. Beckham still possesses the game-breaking speed to take the ball to the house.

With this new rapport with Lamar, I think we keep riding Beckham through the playoffs.
