- Last Night’s Winners
- The Draftkings 300k Punch Out continued last night with the final 8 players competing for the top two spots in the heads up final. In the end it was kenjr911 and grinders member Moose285 at the top of the leader board. They will now compete in a head to head final on July 8th where the winner will have the option of taking home 100k in cash or 50k in cash and an Atlantis Championship Package. Congrats guys! Rounding out the top 3 was well known grinders member JoshKayNhl, for his third place finish he walks away with 17.5k. Congrats and great showing Josh!
Grinders member Fish72292 had a HUGE night, winning the $535 DFBC Qualifier on Fanduel and the Draftstreet DSBC Qualifier #29. Congrats!
- World Cup
- In a thrilling 2 hour plus match on Tuesday Belgium ended the U.S. World Cup teams hopes of advancing to the round of 8. Despite an onslaught of shots during the first 90 minutes, the game remained scoreless thanks to a brilliant performance by U.S goalie Tim Howard. The first goal of the game didn’t come until 3 minutes into extra time, when Belgium took a 1-0 lead. In the 105th minute Belgium scored another goal seeming to have put the game away, but the U.S. quickly answered with a goal by Julian Green. In the final minutes the U.S. would have many opportunities to tie the game at 2, but all of them fell short. Tim Howard finished the game with 16 saves, the most saves in a World Cup Match since 1966 and was named the player of the game.
