In Case You Missed It
- Stevie Loves Dongs – If you tuned into The Afternoon Grind yesterday, you might have heard our friend Stevietpfl guarantee a Jose Abreu dong for last nights games. In fact, he was so confident that he agreed to design, purchase, and wear in public (as well as on Grinders Live, of course) an “I Love Dongs” t-shirt if Abreu didn’t come through. Well get your cameras ready folks, because Stevie has a shirt to design! If you have any suggestions for the shirt design, I’d love to see/hear them so we can make this as embarassing as possible. Warning: Please try and keep your suggestions PG-13, this is a family/work friendly site after all!
- Qualifiers Galore – There were quite a few main event qualifiers last night across the major sites. FanDuel ran a $535 version of the DFBC Q that was taken down by bubbleboy. Worth noting is that Hunter Pence was 62.5% owned in this contest and donged, but bubbleboy didn’t have him on his team. Over on DraftStreet, rickmillitar won his second DSBC Q in a row, which is honestly one of the more impressive things I’ve seen in a while. Finally, StarStreet ran a $27 qualifier to the PlayBoy mansion last night, which is probably the best event to chase for low/medium bankroll players like myself. The winner of the seat to the finals and the party of a lifetime was DKMaestro, who actually took the whole thing down despite getting a doughnut from Wade Miley.

- Tonight’s Action – We have a split schedule on this fine Hump Day. There are 8 early games today, starting with Philly at the Braves at 12:10 Eastern. So no matter what you’re up to today, you should be able to find a contest or two that fits your schedule. If you’re following the World Cup, Groups B and A continue their play today with matches between Australia and the Netherlands, Spain and Chile, and Cameroon and Croatia.
