Happy Monday and welcome to a brand new week of the Rise & Grind, where you get to catch up on all the things that went down in DFS yesterday!
Today we’ll go over who won the DraftKings’ Millionaire Maker, FanDuel’s NFL Sunday Million, and FantasyDraft’s Run & Gun!
Then, we’ll toss out the GrindersLive schedule for today, where you will get all the information you need to build a winning lineup for NBA tonight.
Finally, we’ll dish out another contest for the challenging seven-game NBA slate via freeroll for a chance to win a deck of RG cards!

Sunday’s Big Winners
As the ninth week of the National Football League’s regular season comes to a close, three more people have taken home MAJOR pocket change. Since there are three amazing DFS sites that have super large GPPs for Sunday’s NFL slate, we’ll run through all three to see who took home the big enchilada and how they did it.
Let’s start with the big one, DraftKings Millionaire Maker.
ph1982 found their way to the top of the leaderboard in DraftKings “NFL $4M FANTASY FOOTBALL MILLIONAIRE”, that’s right he/she actually won a million dollars.
Let’s break down their lineup:
At first glance, you can see that there are five athletes who are under 10% owned in this contest. This lineup is super contrarian but had to climb its up way up in front of the second place finisher dreamteam66, who thought it was in the bag. That’s when Latavius Murray happened. It looked like a game we all can figure out for Sunday Night Football. The Denver Broncos and their juiced up defense were squaring off with Derek Carr and his red-hot Oakland Raiders, two teams with complete opposite dynamics. Denver, with an amazing defense but a gross offense, and Oakland, with their sizzling offense and subpar defense. From the first snap Latavius Murray went head over heels, running for three touchdowns on 114 rushing yards, inching ph1982 past dreamteam66, who was sitting pretty at the top before Murray began running out the clock and ending off with 34.7 DK points
Another athlete that went completely bonkers was Melvin Gordon. He went completely off, rushing for a hair under 200 yards, one rushing touchdown on top of four receptions for 65 yards, finishing his night with a phat 39.1 DK points.

Next, let’s take a look at the winner of the FanDuel $1.25M NFL Sunday Million, who took home the massive $200,000 prize.
guymuntag won a nailbiter against the second place guy jackatmag, frolicking home with the top prize.
guymuntag snagged Jason Witten, who was one of the top scoring tight ends on the slate, hammering the putrid Browns defense with 134 receiving yards and a score, totaling up 23.4 FD points.
The majority of the points though came from his running backs. You already heard about what Melvin Gordon accomplished, but let’s take a peek at what Mark Ingram did. Ingram exploded for 158 rushing yards, one receiving touchdown, and one rushing touchdown. Dude was all over the field after scoring a pitiful -1 FD points just last week.
At the helm at QB he slotted in the Arod of the NFL, one Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers did his thing, connecting for 297 passing yards, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing himself for 43, ending his night with a solid quarterback score of 27.18 FD points.

Finally, in FantasyDraft Run & Gun MARKAW4 scooped up the big bucks in the biggest contest available on the site.
MARKAW4’s line consisted of some familiar faces, along with the elusive Michael Thomas from the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees found Michael Thomas in the end zone twice, plus he tacked on 73 yards from just five receptions, equaling to 24.3 FDraft points.
MARKAW4 had two entries of the same lineup in this contest, so he tied with himself, eating up the first and second place prizes for a HUGE night.
