Rise & Grind: Monday, October 10th
Happy Monday morning to my beloved readers, and welcome to the very first Rise & Grind of this fresh week. I hope your Sunday was filled with nothing but football, wings, and winnings.
As we trek on to an exciting Monday Night Football game tonight, let’s look back on Sunday and see who the goats and woats of the week were.
From there we will dive into the elusive NFL chatter to get us set for the Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will be colliding in an explosive matchup on primetime television.
Sunday’s Big Winners

We had dbpittsburgh on with Joey Ingram during Sunday Night Sweats and it got intense. DB was winning a cool million and bugging out, up until the end of the New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers game, when Jamal07 hopped right over him; it was devastating but so raw.
Jamal07 started his team out with Philip Rivers, who had an unreal game, to say the least. Rivers racked up a total of four touchdowns and 359 passing yards. Rivers wasn’t even the highest-scoring player on the squad, however. Sammie Coats (now known as Sammie Goats) absolutely crushed it too, going for two touchdowns and 139 receiving yards while totaling up to a massive 34.9 DK points.
The rest of the team is completely stacked as well; here it is in all its glory.

Undefeated
I’ve never thought I’d say this in my life, but the Minnesota Vikings are the only team in the National Football League that has yet to be beaten through five gruesome weeks of tough football. This team lead by Terry Bridgewater Sam Bradford and Adrian Peterson Jerick Mckinnon have completely uprooted all the teams they’ve faced so far this young season. Their tight end Kyle Rudolph also has a huge hand in what this team has been able to accomplish thus far.
On Sunday though it wasn’t Jerick who performed the heroics, it was….(wait for it)… Stefon Diggs Adam Thielen who caught a touchdown pass on top of his 127-yard game, and Cordarrelle Patterson joined in on the fun with a touchdown of his own.
We can’t talk about the Vikings without bringing up their stellar defense. This squad has stifled their opponents to a total of just 63 points through five weeks, and that’s not even including a bye week! DFS wise the defense has scored 67 DK points total so far and are looking for their sixth win against the Philadelphia Eagles next week.
I’m curious to know how much further they can take this streak; you really can’t help but root for them after what this franchise has been through.
