Meet Jakz101
If you’ve been a long time RGer, you’ve seen Jakz101, aka Eric Crain, lurking. The sad part is, no one really gets to know the GrindersLive hosts.
That’s why you need to go check out Crain’s AMA on the RG forums, to learn more about the popular contributor.
Here are some facts that you may or may not know about Eric, in his own words:
- He started working at RotoGrinders in Feb of 2016 – He started playing DFS professionally in September of 2015. Before that, he was a professional poker player for 10.5 years. – He attended four different colleges, earning nothing more than an Associates degree and masters in poker. – He’s an avid St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, and Southern Illinois Salukis fan. – He grew up in Southern Illinois and have lived in St. Louis, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City while also traveling around the country playing poker. – His wife and he recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary. Against all odds, she hasn’t killed him yet. – He plays mostly GPPs, though he’s starting to dabble more in cash games. – He’s qualified five entries in three different live finals. In the 2015 DraftKings NFL live final he earned the honor of getting the last place. Go Crain! – He was easily the most likely to get injured during the FanDuel NFL Combine at the 2015 live final.
